How Are Team Members Classified?
- New Hire

A Team Member who has been actively employed (or re-employed) for less than 12 months.
Team Members classified as CSRs, Delivery Drivers, and SMs.
Team Members classified as AM, GM, DM, Leadership Team, and full time Office/Support Staff.
Health Insurance
Health insurance through MAC Pizza is offered to Team Members who meet the Affordable Care Act (ACA) standards and waiting period(s) listed below.
- New Hires
- Initial Waiting Period: 12 months
- Initial Measurement Period: 12 months (starting 1st month following hire/rehire)
- Administrative Period: 1 month (qualification and enrollment period)
- Must average at least 130 working hours per month in initial measurement period
- New Hires Promoted to Management
- Waiting Period: 2 months
- Administrative Period 1 month (qualification and enrollment period)
- If choose to enroll, coverage is effective 1st of month after waiting period. Eligible to keep coverage for 12 months following effective date, provided Team Member maintains Management position and position requirements.
401K Retirement Plan
- Team Members are eligible to participate in tax deferred retirement savings when they;
- have had at least one year continuous employment with MAC Pizza
- are at least 21 years of age
- worked a minimum of 1000 hours in either the first 12 months of employment or in a following plan year (Jan 1st thru Dec 31st).
Eligible Team Members can enroll/begin contributions during open enrollment held twice per year, in December and June (effective Jan 1st and July 1st, respectively)
Paid Time Off
Paid time off is offered to Company designated AMs (Level 2 and above), GMs, DMs, Leadership, and full-time Office/Support Staff. The Paid Time Off Plans may be different by position, updated annually. (Plan Year: January 1st thru December 31st)
The plans are distributed to Team Members who qualify and covers all approved time off for all leave types (medical, vacation, personal etc.) All qualified Team Members must maintain the requirements of their position in order to keep their PTO benefits.
