What is EMV?
EMV is a global standard for credit cards that uses computer chips to authenticate (and secure) chip-card transactions. fraudsters will commonly try to avoid EMV transactions so merchants will have to type in or swipe cards.
Checking EMV Devices For Tampering
We check our EMV Devices (at least) once a month, and record our findings on the EMV Device Check Log (seen below). Each month this log needs to be emailed to your DM and Melissa Bennett.
