When is a PAF-Start LOA Required?
A PAF-Start LOA is REQUIRED
- When a TM plans to go on LOA
- Or has already been on LOA for 2 weeks or more (1 week or more for mgmt.)
Even if the TM has already returned, you need to submit a PAF explaining the reason they have not clocked in for the past 14 days.
If you are submitting a PAF-Start LOA AFTER the TM has returned
- Indicate in the comments section or in Question 6 that the PAF is for a past LOA. This will help HR determine if the PAF submitted is for a current leave of absence or for a past leave.
