Here's how the scoring breaks down:
- 5 Star = 90+ points
- 4 Star = 80 - 89 points
- 3 Star = 70 - 79 points
- 2 Star = 60 - 69 points
- 1 Star = 50 - 59 points
- 0 Star = < 50 points
Sections and Scoring Breakdown
- Product - 38 Points
- Food Safety - 22 Points
- Image and Cleanliness - 18 Points
- Equipment and Store Condition - 16 Points
- Brand Safety - 6 Points
Who Does An Operations Assessment?
An Operations Specialist will visit each store a minimum of two visits per year, unannounced. After the assessment takes place, the Operations Specialist will review the results with the Manager-In-Charge as well as the Supervisor if they are present.
What Do You Need For An Operations Assessment?
The following is a list of items that store team members should have access to:
- Operations and Product Standard Guides
- Monthly pest control documentation
- Pizza Grading Tool
- Calibrated Thermometers
- Approved variances (if any)
- Stopwatch to time pizza makers
- Results from the last Operations Assessment visit (i.e. score, goals, and needs for improvement)
- Most current shelf life guide

Self Operations Assessment
All SMs, AMs and GMs should complete two Self-Operations Assessments twice each period (these cannot be done during the same week)
Self-Operations Assessments should be submitted through PWR for tracking purposes.
